IES FOUNDATION YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS

IES College offers several country specific scholarships for students commencing their Foundation Year studies at IES College.

IES Foundation Year Scholarships for Outstanding Students

Country specific scholarships are available per year for outstanding students seeking to enter IES Foundation Year in the Standard and Express programs. These scholarships provide 50% remission of IES Foundation Year tuition fees and are applied retrospectively upon commencement of the student's undergraduate studies at UQ, thereby reducing the first semester tuition fee at UQ.

Scholarships are awarded on academic merit and may not be used in conjunction with any other scholarship (e.g. outstanding music students cannot combine their scholarship with their country's outstanding student scholarship).

One scholarship is available per year for outstanding Music students seeking to enter IES Foundation Year in the Standard and Express programs. These scholarships provide 50% remission of IES Foundation Year tuition fees and are applied retrospectively upon commencement of the student's undergraduate studies at UQ, thereby reducing the first semester tuition fee at UQ.

IES New Campus Scholarships

Country specific scholarships are available to celebrate the official opening of IES College's second and third campuses. The scholarships are available for entry into all 2018 and 2019 IES Foundation Year programs – the Standard, Express and Extended programs. These scholarships provide 25% to 50% remission of IES Foundation Year tuition fees and the student benefits from the scholarship during the Foundation Year studies itself.

Scholarships may not be used in conjunction with any other scholarship (e.g. outstanding music students cannot combine their scholarship with their country's New Campus Scholarship).

IES Foundation Year and The University of Queensland, School of Economics Scholarship

Country specific scholarships are available for students enrolled in the IES Foundation Year who are intending to study Bachelor of Economics at The University of Queensland (UQ) upon successful completion of their Foundation program. The scholarship is linked to the pathway into UQ.

The Foundation Year component of this scholarship provides 25% remission of IES Foundation Year program tuition fees, which is applied retrospectively upon commencement of the student's Bachelor of Economics studies at UQ, thereby reducing the first semester tuition fee at UQ; and the UQ Economics component of scholarship provides 25% reduction on all economics tuition fees and is applied to every semester's fee instalment.
